Hadeel (@hadeelhadeelhadeel) is a 1957 Heidelberg Windmill Letterpress that I acquired in August 2022. Since then, I’ve been slowly learning how to operate and maintain this beautiful machine—an ongoing process that involves equal parts research, experimentation, and trial and error.
The press is now fully operational and set up in my hometown in the mountains of Mount Lebanon, where I’ve been gradually building a small letterpress studio.

Along the way, I’ve been sourcing Arabic metal type, exploring traditional printing techniques, and reconnecting with the tactility of print as a medium.
